GPS Project

Hi,

As a part of my final year project research, I am asking people what new features they would like to see in a GPS unit.

"Nowadays, GPS units are so darn popular. Not only do they come in all sorts of flavors, they are getting more affordable! In the next few years, I think GPS units will be so inexpensive, you'll have a hard time giving excuses for getting lost. Currently, you can find GPS functions in cars, cell phones, PDAs, and even watches!"

If you have any ideas or have read any interesting articles on GPS units, I would be very grateful if you could direct them to me. As it may help me expand my project.

Thank you for you time.

Funnily enough I’ve been looking at this http://www.msmobilenews.com/page/1477/ for my next phone. It’s the first phone with GPS. It looks like it will contain GPS SiRFStar III which apparently is the daddy of GPS chipsets – although your research may well tell you differently over time
